I certainly hope they are able to do the Central line soon and you can get home for some much needed mental health time. May God grant you your wishes and make Gavin healthier real soon.

Karen, this scripture came to mind during my devotion time. 2 Cor,5:7 "Walk by faith, not by sight." Today several women in our church are fasting and praying for a breakthough for Gavin. I know it's no coincidence that tomorrow is the National Day of Prayer. Hold on, sweetheart. Love, Molly

I keep checking to see how Gavin is doing and honestly, I don't understand exactly what he's going through because of all the medical terminology, but I do know that I continue to pray for Gavin with intensity and love. Dear Lord, hold onto tight to this precious boy and his family.

I am so glad you visited the kids site and signed the guestbook. I ask about Gavin and your family every time we are at duPont. We always seem to miss you guys. Dr. Katz is fabulous and we love him so much. He was the one who got Alex diagnosed with mito. Every parent of a child with mito is "freaking" amazing (a favorite word of mine so it made me smile). You have to be. I admire your strength as well. I am glad that you are home and living life! I marked your page so I don't have to break privacy laws when I am trying to get an update on the little man! He is huge compared to when I first met him! That is wonderful! Enjoy being home!

Karen, so glad to hear you and Gavin are finally home and Gavin has his new line. I finally have had an opportunity to view this website. There are so many beautiful photos of Gavin and his sister. I'm thinking about you and Gavin and please know you are both in my prayers. I will check this site often. Happy Spring! Happy Homecoming!

Hi Karen,
Just wanted to say we've been thinking of you guys and pray that you to find peace and healing from the Lord. I try to imagine what it must be like and wish there was something I could do. Please let me know if you ever need a hand with anything. We're looking forward to seeing you when you get back. Oh, btw I just noticed that Ava and Gavin share a birthday. Pretty cool!
